     (from Boudot & al. 2009:28): Platycnemis kervillei is a Middle-East endemic that reaches Iraq and Iran to the east and to the north does not cross the Taurus range in Turkey.

Kerville's Federlibelle, Platycnemis kervillei (Martin 1909), ist ein Endemit der südöstlichen Türkei und des Nahen Ostens. Die Art stellt die Vikariante der weiter westlich vorkommenden P. pennipes dar. Sie bevölkert stehende und langsam fliessende Gewässer mit reicher Ufervegetation. Salur & Kiyak (2006) berichten über das Vorkommen der Art in der Türkei.
