(from Boudot & al. 2009:44): no record of Ceriagrion glabrum, a common Afrotropical species, has been published from Egypt since 1928, and it is therefore regarded as extinct in North Africa. The nearest populations [to the Mediterranean] are know from Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
Die Unbehaarte Jungfer, Ceriagrion glabrum (Burmeister 1839) ist eine im tropischen Afrika vorkommende Art. Sie stellen an ihren Lebensraum keine besondere Ansprüche. In Saudi-Arabien ist die Art selten und kommt an temporären Wasserstellen vor (Feulner & al. 2007).
