Südliche Mosaikjungfer

     (from Boudot & al. 2009:92): it is a Mediterranean species presently showing an increase in density in the north of Europe, probably largely as a result of global warming.

Die Südliche Mosaikjungfer, Aeshna affinis Vander Linden 1820, ist eine Libellenart aus dem Mittelmeergebiet, die sich nach Norden hin ausbreitet. Ihr ursprüngliches Verbreitungsgebiet ist das westliche Nordafrika, die Iberische Halbinsel ostwärts über Frankreich, Italien, Griechenland bis Kleinasien. Schröter (2010) meldet die Art aus Kirgisistan und Kosterin & al. (2001) aus Sibirien..
