     (from Boudot & al. 2009:184): Nesciothemis farinosa is a common Afrotropical species that was able to reach the Mediterranean coast in Egypt probably via the Nile corridor.

Der Mehl-Blaupfeil, Nesciothemis farinosa (Förster 1898), kommt in Nordafrika nur entlang des Nil vor; die Art gilt als afrotropisch in Ost- und Südafrika, Schneider & Nasher (2013) melden die Art auch aus dem Yemen .        

Ein Männchen aus dem Nylsvley-Naturpark, Süd-Afrika.
