     (from Boudot & al. 2009:86): Old records of Platycnemis dealbata from the Sinai Peninsula, sub P. latipes have never been confirmed. This eastern species does not occur beyond the Taurus range to the northwest of Turkey, but extends to Tajikistan and Kashmir to the east.

Die Elfenbein Federlibelle, Platycnemis dealbata Selys in Selys & Hagen 1850, kommt von Kleinasien und dem Nahen Osten bis in den Kaschmir vor. Platycnemis latipes hat eine westliche Verbreitung, Portugal, Spanien, Frankreich.
